What we are looking for:
Extensive experience in weddings and events
Attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills
Excellent Interpersonal skills
Fluent English
Immaculate Grooming
3rd level Hospitality Diploma or equivalent desirable
Basic Computer Skills
Responsibilities:
Manage the reactive Wedding and Events Sales Team
Create and implement the wedding and events strategy for The Kingsley
Maximise hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by ensuring accurate and effective processing of conference bookings, weddings and private functions
Prepare a weekly forecast for Weddings and Events when requested
Conduct client site inspections and wedding show-rounds
Responsible for the conversion of event and wedding enquiries
Manage and attend internal and external Wedding Showcases
Attend client entertainment evenings, industry events and trade shows if required
Implement new policies and procedures if required
Actively seek out new sales leads
Ensure the Events & Wedding team pass all sales leads to the proactive Sales Team in all properties within The Fota Collection.
Utilize Opera to its full capacity ensuring that bookings and activities are inputted correctly and that all follow up on enquiries and existing bookings is completed in a timely manner
Ensure the issuing and receiving of all Wedding and Events contracts
Create client files for all enquiries and bookings to ensure they are accessible by all in the department should an associate leave or be out sick
