This is a great opportunity to join one of Irelands leading Agricultural Machinery Companies as a Service Technician in our busy site in Ballycallan, Co. Kilkenny. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on world-renowned Agricultural Machinery brands including John Deere, Lemken and Kramer.
Main Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural equipment and AMS products.
* Maintain a clean workstation and assist with the overall upkeep of the workshop and correct use of tools and vehicles.
* Follow all safety rules and regulations.
* Participate in demos and training activities when required.
* Possible travel to the UK/Germany/Italy for training and developing skills & knowledge on the products that we carry.
* Travel to perform diagnostics and repairs off-site, when required.
* Ensure all administration relating to work is completed i.e. job cards, timesheets etc.
* Perform pre-delivery set up on new and used equipment.
* Mentor apprentices.
Skills & Qualifications
* Qualification in Agricultural Mechanics preferred, and experience performing service repairs is essential.
* Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Ability to operate machinery, perform diagnostics and carry out repairs.
* Good customer relationship skills.
* Excellent teamworking mentality.
