Business Development Manger (On the road)
Ireland's leading property portal is on a mission to make buying and selling homes simple for everyone. With millions of users engaging across its website and apps each month, the company offers an exciting opportunity to work on products that reach hundreds of thousands of people daily. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow revenue within an existing client base and secure new estate agent partnerships across the Cork region. The role involves regular in-person meetings, so a full driving licence and access to a car are essential.
What does my day to day look like?
* Act as a trusted advisor to estate agent clients, connecting them with hundreds of thousands of active property seekers and clearly communicating the value of market-leading advertising solutions.
* Educate, consult and sell a range of digital advertising products, using value-based selling to grow revenue across an existing client portfolio.
* Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers, expanding partnerships and identifying new revenue opportunities.
* Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities through active prospecting, managing both short- and long-term sales cycles.
* Own and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, producing accurate forecasts and maintaining a healthy, well-managed pipeline.
* Act as the primary point of contact for designated accounts across the Munster region, representing the business as a spokesperson within the property community.
* Capture customer and market insights and collaborate with internal sales, product and marketing teams to support future growth, while effectively managing CRM systems (Salesforce experience advantageous).
Sounds great, what kind of person are they looking for?
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in online or B2B sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
* Strong relationship-building skills with a proactive, consultative approach to account management, including confidence engaging with C-level stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to use data-driven insights to support value-based selling and navigate complex pricing conversations.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, target-driven environments and motivated by challenge, competition and continuous improvement.
* Experience using CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce and Tableau is advantageous, with the ability to manage pipelines effectively.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally to get results.
* Highly self-motivated, resilient and team-oriented, with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in contributing to a strong workplace culture.
