The Education Department manages educational programmes and initiatives for professionals at all stages of their careers and provides tailored corporate training to meet the evolving needs of the sector.
Student & Education Engagement Assistant
They are now seeking a Student & Education Engagement Assistant to support the delivery of student engagement activities, education initiatives, and administrative tasks that help promote careers in the built environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the delivery of school communication and engagement activities.
* Help coordinate and schedule school talks, workshops, and outreach events.
* Support the creation and distribution of promotional and awareness materials, including career pathways and membership information.
* Attend career fairs, open days, and other education-related events, assisting with set‑up, presentations, and follow‑up activities.
* Help maintain relationships with schools, colleges, and industry partners.
* Support internal communications and marketing efforts, including digital and social media content.
* Prepare basic reports on engagement activities and event participation.
* Undertake additional administrative or project support tasks as required by the Education Department.
Experience and Competencies
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organised, and eager to learn, with a positive approach to supporting students and education initiatives.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Good communication skills (both written and verbal) and basic IT proficiency.
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
* Willingness to assist with content creation and social media activities.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Comfortable interacting with students, educators, and industry professionals.
* Some experience in an administrative, education, or training support role (minimum 6 months–1 year preferred).
* High standard of administrative and reporting skills.
* Full clean driver’s licence (national travel may be required).
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar tools; experience with CRM systems desirable.
* Interest in the built environment, construction, or property sectors.
* Previous experience in a professional body, education, or student engagement setting.
