Clinical Psychologist – Full-time/Part-time (Hybrid)

Our client is currently seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join their team in North Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated psychologist who is passionate about working with children and specialising in autism and ADHD assessments. The role offers a supportive, multidisciplinary environment where collaboration and professional development are encouraged.


About the Role:

Our client offers both full-time and part-time positions, with the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement to ensure a good work-life balance. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive autism and ADHD assessments, collaborating with families, and contributing to the development of tailored intervention plans.


Key Responsibilities for the Clinical Psychologist:

* Conduct comprehensive autism and ADHD assessments using standardised tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
* Provide diagnostic evaluations and develop detailed clinical reports.
* Work closely with families and caregivers, offering guidance and support regarding appropriate interventions and next steps.
* Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the overall care planning process.
* Maintain accurate and confidential client records in line with professional and ethical guidelines.
* Stay up to date with best practices and emerging research in psychological assessments and interventions.


Requirements of the Clinical Psychologist :

* A Master’s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland and validated by the Department of Health.
* A minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience working with children.
* Experience and expertise in autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessment and diagnosis.
* Proficiency in administering and interpreting standardised assessment tools used in autism diagnosis (ADOS-2, ADI-R).
* Strong clinical skills, including case conceptualisation and intervention planning.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
* Prior experience in Primary Care, CDNT, or CAMHS settings is highly desirable.
