We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this vibrant four-star hotel in North Dublin.
This role centres on driving sales growth through smart strategy and strong relationships. You’ll develop and execute sales plans across corporate, MICE, and leisure markets, working closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Revenue team to hit ambitious hotel targets.
Key responsibilities:
* Shape and deliver sales strategy, ensuring ambitious revenue goals are achieved.
* Create and execute monthly sales activity plans, including client calls, trade shows, FAM trips, and networking events — both locally and internationally.
* Proactively identify and convert new business, while nurturing key existing accounts to their fullest potential.
* Represent hotel as a true brand ambassador, attending key industry events and building strong relationships with partners and influencers.
* Stay ahead of the competition — analyzing trends, tracking market intelligence, and seizing opportunities to grow our market share.
* Deliver excellent reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, showcasing progress, insights, and wins.
The ideal candidate:
* A proven background in hotel sales, ideally in a 4- or 5-star property.
* Experience setting and achieving annual sales budgets.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A customer-first mindset with strong commercial awareness.
* A full, clean driver’s license and your own transport.
