Location: South East Ireland (Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite, 3 days per week remote working)
I'm currently recruiting for a Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of data science solutions, machine learning models, and IT-based analytics platforms. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who can independently drive projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What you'll do:
1. Lead development of data science, ML models, and IT solutions
2. Apply testing frameworks, processes, and automation to deliver high-quality software
3. Collaborate on and drive data-informed product strategies
4. Improve data quality, system performance, reliability, and scale
5. Influence and lead data modeling, development methodologies, and DevSecOps/DataOps practices
6. Stay current with technology trends and drive innovation
7. Ensure data governance, privacy, and security best practices
8. Participate in data modeling, analysis, testing, and approve medium feature designs
9. Write data mapping and metadata specifications
Technical skills:
10. Proficiency in Python and R
11. Experience with data science platforms, Linux, containerized environments, and AWS
12. Knowledge of AI/GenAI development patterns (., RAG)
