A global manufacturing organisation is seeking a qualified and experienced Plant Controller to take full responsibility for the financial management and controls of a high-performing production site. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong manufacturing background, keen commercial insight, and the ability to influence plant-level decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all site-level financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensure compliance with global accounting standards and internal control policies
Drive cost control, efficiency improvements, and KPI tracking across materials, labour, and production
Provide timely financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions
Coordinate capital expenditure reviews and ensure adherence to budget
Supervise and mentor the on-site finance team, including outsourced support
Partner closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Minimum 7–10 years' post-qualified experience, with strong manufacturing exposure
- Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and drive site-level performance
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Strong ERP systems experience (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
