A leading retail bank are seeking a Regulatory ComplianceAnalyst to work in the Compliance and Assurance team. The role is being offeredon a permanent basis and offers a strong benefits package along with a hybridworking model.
In this role you will operate on the second line of defence andprovide support to stakeholders on wholesale conduct and markets regulationmatters, including offering advice, critically assessing regulatory solutionsand contributing towards project delivery. You will be a key figure forregulatory compliance interaction across the business lines.
Key responsibilities for the Regulatory Compliance Analystare:Engage with key business stakeholders i.e.Treasury, Wealth Management & Risk, to provide regulatory updatesManage the application of Mifid regulatoryrequirements for the GroupEnsure that all compliance and conduct risks areidentified, assessed and effectively managed / mitigated and all regulatoryrequirements are metIdentify key conduct regulation risks andcommunicate these clearly and concisely to impacted business areasContribute to the Compliance plan by offeringkey compliance strategic advice to the senior teamCommunicate complex regulatory themes on topicssuch as MiFID, Consumer Protection and Product Governance through advice tobusiness units, policy development and internal governanceRequirementsAt least 4 years' experience in Compliancewithin Financial Services with a focus on second line compliance activitiesKnowledge and experience working with Mifid isessential to the roleAn understanding of aspects of current andupcoming regulation with an ability to review regulatory impact assessments onnew and amending upstream regulationHighly motivated, with a proven ability to workon own initiative within a challenging and dynamic work environment, withexcellent communication skills (both spoken and written), interpersonal skillsand people skillsHave a proven experience in managingrelationships with business stakeholders and/or regulators
