Overview
The Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist is part of a team serving pregnant individuals and children up to age 6 at risk for emotional disturbances due to socioeconomic, educational, or health factors. This community-based role requires at least 80% of services to be rendered in clients' homes or community locations.
Compensation
Starting salary ranges from $47,600 to $56,000 for limited licensed candidates, and $51,850 to $61,000 for fully licensed candidates, based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments and develop person-centered treatment plans
* Monitor and document client progress
* Engage with clients in the community regularly
* Provide therapeutic interventions and coordinate services
* Complete assessments using tools like ASQ, DECA, PECFAS, DC 0-3
* Offer crisis intervention and ensure safety
* Maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity standards
* Participate in ongoing training and supervision
Qualifications
* Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
* State licensure (e.g., LMSW, LPC, LMFT, LLP) or eligibility to obtain within specified timeframes
* Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Two years of clinical experience with diverse age groups, including children
* Knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy and substance use disorders
* Effective communication and cultural competency skills
Preferred
* Three or more years of relevant experience
