Role Description
This hybrid Solar Installer role is based in Skibbereen, West Cork. As a full time or part time position, the Solar Installer will be responsible for installing solar panels on slate roofs, tile roofs, and metal roofs, conducting site assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key tasks include operating power and hand tools, collaborating with team members for efficient project completion, and troubleshooting system issues. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience with Solar Power, Solar Systems, and the Solar Industry
Proficiency in using Power Tools and Hand Tools for installations safely and effectively
Ability to read and follow technical plans and diagrams
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical ability to work at heights and handle physical tasks
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed
Previous experience in solar installation or a similar role is advantageous
