Company profile:Mullan design and manufacture a wide range of bespoke and customised decorative lighting pieces for the retail, commercial and hospitality markets.We are young and dynamic company that is continually expanding who welcome dynamic and enthusiastic members to our team.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join our operations in the bespoke lighting sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and ensuring consistent growth in sales revenue. This role requires a deep understanding of high-end custom lighting products, a strong design sensibility, and the ability to communicate effectively with architects, interior designers, contractors, internal production teams ensuring successful project execution.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including interior designers, architects, and developersCollaborate with the design and production teams to ensure client specifications are accurately translated into final productsContribute to pricing strategy and product development discussionsMonitor project timelines and ensure delivery deadlines are metAttend site visits and client meetings as necessaryManage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the lighting and electrical industryProvide product recommendations and technical support tailored to client needsCollaborate with internal teams (design, production, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and project satisfactionTrack project timelines, quotes, and order statusAttend trade shows, client meetings, and industry events as neededStay updated on product lines, market trends, and competitive activityQualifications & Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B or luxury sales, preferably in lighting, interior design, architecture, or related fields.Proven track record in high-value or consultative sales environments.Strong understanding of the bespoke or high-end product sales cycle.Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools (sage desirable)Strong presentation and communication skills.Experience managing or mentoring a sales team is a plus.Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and lighting plans is advantageous.Personal Attributes:Design-led mindset with an eye for detail and aestheticsSelf-motivated, target-driven, and proactiveProfessional, confident, and client-focusedAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyComfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentSalary depends on experience.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €29,462.85-€38,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany eventsEmployee assistance programEmployee discountOn-site parkingPrivate medical insuranceAbility to commute/relocate:Mullan Village, Monaghan, CO.
