We take pride in serving our local community and are working towards becoming the leading independent garage in the area.The Role:We are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Workshop Controller & Parts Manager. This is a dual-role position ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, technical understanding, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow in the workshop while also overseeing the ordering, inventory, and distribution of vehicle parts.Key Responsibilities:Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress to ensure efficiency and quality.Coordinate workshop workload and maximise productivity.Carry out job card reviews, ensure accurate job costing, and maintain high customer service standards.Manage parts ordering, stock levels, and supplier relationships.Ensure all parts are available for upcoming jobs and keep downtime to a minimum.Liaise with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth communication between the workshop and customers.Maintain a clean, organised and health & safety-compliant workshop environment.What We're Looking For:Previous experience in a similar Workshop Controller and/or Parts Manager role.Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Good computer literacy and understanding of garage management systems.Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities at once.A team player with a hands-on attitude.What We Offer:A dynamic, friendly, and supportive working environment.Opportunity to be a key part of a growing and ambitious business.Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Ongoing training and development opportunities.Join Us:If you're passionate about keeping a workshop running smoothly and enjoy the challenge of managing both people and parts, we'd love to hear from you.
