Daffodil Care Services are currently hiring Full Time, Part Time & Relief Social Care Workers for our new mainstream residential service based in Newcastle, Co. Tipperary, 20 mins outside of Clonmel.

As a Social Care Worker and working as part of a team you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities in the residential unit and work in close collaboration with the Social Care Leader and Manager in creating and maintaining a warm, accepting and secure environment for the young people in your care and will play a key role in the delivery of the highest standard of therapeutic residential services.
What we can offer you:
* Attractive starting salary package for our Full time Social Care Workers €39,567 - €42,895 per annum for SCW (depending on experience) inclusive of sleeping time and premiums
* Incremental salary scale
* Typical schedule of 2 X twenty four-hour (sleepover) shifts per week for full time staff - can be a combination of sleepover and 12 hour shifts to suit the needs of the service.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Level 7 qualification (degree) or above in one of the following:
* Social Care
* Social work
* Psychology (Level 8)
* Child & Adult Psychotherapy
* Youth & Community
* Teaching
* Nursing
* Social Science
* Counselling
* Addiction Studies
* A full driving license
* Experience of working with vulnerable young people and youth and families in the community or residential setting
OR
* If you are eligible to register with CORU as a social care worker.
A full driving licence is a mandatory requirement.
