Location: Cluain Mhuire Services Initial Base: Blackrock and Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately.
In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.
Senior Grade Psychologist Full-Time (35hrs) Permanent Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Senior Grade Psychologist-Full Time.

Role Summary This post is working as a senior grade psychologist on both a General Adult Community Mental Health team and a multidisciplinary Crisis Resolution Service team in Dublin Southeast providing a service to adults presenting with a range of crisis presentations.
The psychologist will be involved in assessment, individual and group interventions, consultation, clinical audit and research.
The successful applicant will join a department of psychologists working across three general adult mental health teams and four specialist adult teams.
Minimum Requirements Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above and the successful candidates should: Hold a recognised university degree or diploma, obtained with first or second class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
Hold a recognised, professional postgraduate qualification in Psychology and be, or be eligible for Chartered Membership of the Clinical or Counselling Division of the Psychological Society of Ireland.
Applicants whose professional qualifications were obtained outside of Ireland must currently hold a Letter of Validation from the Department of Health.
Have at least 5 years post-graduate experience, inclusive of time spent in clinical or counselling psychology training.
The above to include 2 years spent in adult mental health.
Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Have in depth knowledge of the psychological aspects of mental health conditions.
Have a specific knowledge of psychological assessments & interventions with this client population.
Have an interest in and some experience of research and clinical audit, preferably with this client population.
Have experience of group work, preferably with this client population.
Have knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory policies.
Have experience of and clear ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Have a positive approach to working with people with mental health problems, Candidates should be immediately available to commence work.
Remuneration Salary Grade 367Y Psychologist, Senior Clinical on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale €97,528 - €114,638 per annum pro rata Initial location The locations of this role are the Primary Care Centre in Dun Laoghaire and the Centre for Living in Blackrock, Co. Dublin, Dublin South-East .
However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require.
