Title: Mainline Cook – Evening shift

Contract: Full time, Permanent – Evening Shift (3pm - 11pm Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 9pm Friday)
Role and Responsibilities
General duties
* Deliver the quality standards / process standards within the potato processing area.
* Be a key part of the potato process team, engaging in equipment ownership to achieve the desired level of autonomy.
* Work closely with maintenance & process lead to achieve targets.
* Participate in Defect Handling and other various IWS tools.
* Actively identify areas for centre lining throughout the process.
* Communicate quality and food safety issues to the Potato Process Line Lead/Shift Lead and co-ordinate and participate in how to resolve these issues by using IWS tools.
Operational duties
* In conjunction with the Potato Process Line Lead & production process manager, ensure all products are produced to the highest quality.
* Maintain and manage non-conformances in your cell of responsibility.
* Identify root cause to complaints & production problems / issues, which impact product quality.
* Participate in the timely and efficient cleaning of the area on a weekly basis.
* Participate in external and customer audits and visits on site (BRC, AIB).
Productivity
* Deliver the EHS targets in your cell.
* Meeting or exceeding the shift shop order plan for your cell.
* Achieve and sustain standards around.
o Acrylamide
o Moisture
o Quality procedures and specifications.
o Waste & energy consumption reduction.
* Adherence to the material loss strategy and current best approaches.
* Participate in DDS meetings.
* Participate in external and customer audits and visits on site (BRC, AIB).
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Ability to demonstrate equipment & process ownership skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Self-starter, pro-active and comfortable with challenging current practices and processes.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Must have 2-5 years' experience in a food manufacturing/processing environment.
* Candidate must be able to display a change management working style.
* Must have a history of delivering results in a FMCG process.
