Key Responsibilities:

* Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of plant equipment and machinery, including curing equipment, food packaging machinery, conveyors, HVAC systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
* Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults to minimise production downtime.
* Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment operates at optimum efficiency.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
* Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and safety audits.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and operational disruptions.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date maintenance and repair records.

Requirements:

* Relevant mechanical or electrical trades qualification.
* Additional certifications in mechanical or engineering disciplines are an advantage.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a maintenance technician role, ideally within food processing or manufacturing industries.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, with the ability to service and repair a broad range of industrial machinery.
* Flexibility to undertake mandatory overtime as required.
