Ballyconnell Credit Union have a vacancy for a Member Services Officer based in our Ballinamore office for 3 days each week and 2 days across our other offices. This is a Full-Time position reporting to our Senior Administrator and subject to a satisfactory 6-month probation period. The successful candidate will join a team of professional staff delivering a high standard of Member Service and performing a range of supporting duties.
Job Description
* Support our Senior Administrator by providing a helpful, friendly and professional in-person service to our Members at our branch locations.
* Accurately process our Members cash transactions to Share, Loan and Current Accounts including Card Payments finalising in a daily cash reconciliation.
* Assist our Members with queries and problem solving in-person, via phone or email on all aspects of our service.
* Provide access to our On-line, Mobile App and electronic services to Members and to join non-Members.
* Process incoming and outgoing payments and transfers.
* Ensure that we are compliant with our documented Policy and Procedures in all areas of responsibility and, in particular, Anti-Money Laundering and Data Protection.
* Any other general office administrative tasks outlined by our Senior Administrator.
Person Description
* Experience of working in a similar role in a Credit Union or other financial institution would be desirable.
* Excellent standards of Member Service and Communication to excel in dealing empathetically with our Member needs.
* Excellent IT and administrations skills.
* Minimum education standard of Leaving Certificate and hold the necessary Minimum Competency Standards required by the Central Bank of Ireland or undertake to complete and subsequently maintain these standards within an agreed timeframe.
* Full clean driving license.
Pay will be commensurate with the nature of the role and your experience. A contributory pension is available and our working week for the role is Tuesday through to Saturday over a working week of 33.75 hours.
