You will also be responsible for managing staff scheduling, performance, and development within the cafe, as well as maintaining inventory levels, placing orders, and managing supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience in a cafe, restaurant, or food retail management role, with a strong background in customer service and team leadership. They will also have knowledge of food safety standards, proven ability to manage budgets, stock, and staff rotas, and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day operations of the cafe, including front-of-house and kitchen coordination.
* Lead, train, and supervise a dynamic team, ensuring excellent customer service standards.
* Manage and oversee staff scheduling, performance, and development within the cafe.
* Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships.
* Monitor and achieve daily cafe sales targets, labour costs, and margins.
* Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations.
* Handle customer feedback professionally and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
