​Group Company: SIS Ireland Limited​Job Title: Sales Executive and Administrator​Reporting to: Sales Director​Direct Reports: None​Location: Office-based, travelling to various SIS sites and client locations. Extensive travelling and regular periods of time working away from home. Occasional requirement to travel overseas.​MAIN OBJECTIVES​Developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring smooth operational support throughout the sales process.​Assist with preparing proposals, processing sales documentation, and maintaining accurate records to support the wider business objectives.​RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES/ TASKS​Engage with a diverse range of clients including schools, sports clubs, and contractors, while promoting the company's portfolio of artificial turf solutions.​Negotiate terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.​Gathering market and customer information to identify potential new markets, collaborating with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.​Responding to customer queries with a high level of professionalism and resolving their objections to finalise the sale.​Create proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedure.​Inspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on display.​Offer support in providing customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculations.​Processing sales orders and coordinating with internal teams to deliver projects efficiently.​Take and process customer orders and payments.​Managing sales contracts and maintaining an accurate database of sales records, as well as maintaining up-to-date customer records.​Creating and updating sales reports for the sales team and management.​Assist with promotional activities and trade shows.​Keep track of sales targets and ensuring they are met.​Other Duties14.1.To undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time but that shall remain within the competency and skills of the post-holder. This includes covering for the Site & Office Administrator during periods of annual leave or absence.​KEY INTERFACES​External:​Clients and prospective clients Suppliers Competitors Regulatory Authorities Marketing companies/suppliers e.g. Trade Show organizers​Internal: SIS Pitches Directors Contracts Managers Support functions – finance, operations, HRHEALTH & SAFETY ​ All staff have an individual and combined responsibility under the Health & Safety at Work Act as follows: ​To comply with all company health, safety and environmental management policies, works procedures, and instructions to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.​To be aware of, and fulfil, your duties in relation to health and safety in the workplace, to promote your own safety, that of your colleagues and all personnel in your workplace.​To report to a manager any safety or environmental hazards and risks, including incidents and near misses, of which you become aware in the workplace, including faulty or defective machinery or equipment.​To operate workplace machinery in a safe manner and if trained and competent to do so.​To wear all personal protective equipment as directed.​COMPLIANCE & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY​To comply with all company policies and procedures as apply to your role and/or your employment generally, ensuring that you represent the Company to the highest business and ethical standards.​To report immediately any instances of bribery or corruption of which you become aware, or approached regarding.​To behave with respect and dignity towards your colleagues and all personnel in the workplace and to report in confidence any unacceptable behaviour, in particular bullying and harassment.​To contribute towards the continual improvement of the business in terms of the corporate objectives and good governance of the SIS Group.
