QC Lab Technician - Ireland - 11 Months Contract

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a QC Lab Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Sample Management within the QC Bioanalytical Laboratory. This will include management of the samples from receipt through to disposal.
2. Aliquoting of in-process, release and stability samples.
3. Daily calibration of instruments within the QC Bioanalytical Laboratory e.g. Balances, pH meters etc.
4. Maintenance and cleandown of equipment within the QC Bioanalytical Laboratory e.g. HPLC's, plate washers, PCR's and BSC's.
5. General lab housekeeping. This will include waste management, reagent stock checks and maintenance of glassware within the laboratory to support testing.
Desirable Experience:
1. Relevant experience and skill sets in their area of expertise that adds value to the business; ideally in a manufacturing, preferably in a GMP setting.
2. Experience and critical skills in the area of expertise that add value to the business; ideally bioassay and DNA tests.
