Maintenance Specialist
As a core member of our operational team, you will work closely with production to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.
Key responsibilities include:
* Primary support to the production function working in conjunction with the electrical technician to optimize performance.
* Solving complex mechanical issues on the manufacturing plant.
* Participating in changeovers and start-ups on a daily basis.
* Working closely as part of an integrated production team.
* Completing routine maintenance tasks and checks on a regular basis.
* Contributing to weekly preventive maintenance meetings.
* Collaborating with the Maintenance Manager on maintenance downtime, root cause analysis and problem-solving on the plant.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 Years experience operating in a regulated environment.
* Qualified Trades Fitter / mechanic qualifications considered.
* Excellent PC skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to approach problems logically.
* Able to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Capable of balancing hands-on and hands-off tasks.
* A production mindset as part of an integrated team approach.
