The Role
This is a newly created QA Engineer role reporting to the Director of Engineering, driven by the continued growth of our engineering function.
You will join an international team building and maintaining high-quality SaaS products across web applications and backend services.
Working within cross-functional product squads in an Agile/Scrum environment, you will ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
Automation and repeatability will be core to your work, with shared ownership of the quality of every software increment.
What you'll be doing
Defining and executing testing scenarios across the full software development lifecycle
Building, maintaining, and improving automated UI tests using Playwright
Working closely with developers to clarify requirements and validate solutions
Performing and automating functional, regression, and acceptance testing
Tracking and reporting on quality metrics and investigating critical production issues
Promoting a strong quality-first culture and mentoring junior QA team members
What you'll need
3+ years' experience in a QA or test automation role
Experience authoring and maintaining automated tests in Playwright with a code-first approach
Experience working in Agile or Lean development environments
A solid understanding of test automation principles and quality best practices
Basic SQL knowledge and the ability to understand and work with C# code
Experience with at least one scripting language
ISTQB certification (or equivalent) is a plus
You're curious about new technologies and enjoy thoughtfully applying them to improve existing systems
Experience working on a SaaS product is a plus
