Maintenance Supervisor- Waterford
Are you a skilled Maintenance Supervisor looking for an exciting opportunity in a cutting-edge and dynamic workplace? We're seeking a proactive and experienced professional to lead our maintenance team in Waterford. This position is a permanent role, on a 4-cycle shift pattern.
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee a talented team and ensure optimal performance of our equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Optimizing Maintenance Operations: Implement and enhance preventative maintenance programs (CBM & Planned Maintenance) to maximize uptime and efficiency.
2. Leading & Developing Your Team: Train, mentor, and set performance goals for technicians to enhance their skills and contributions.
3. Driving Continuous Improvement: Monitor and improve the effectiveness of all maintenance activities while owning and increasing equipment OEE.
4. Resource Management: Prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to maximize production output.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics to drive equipment reliability and optimize spare parts management.
6. Ensuring Compliance & Safety: Maintain adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations while leading CAPA activities.
7. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
8. Experience:
9. 5+ years in maintenance/engineering roles within high-volume automated industries.
10. 3+ years of leadership/supervisory experience.
11. Technical Expertise: Extensive hands-on knowledge of preventive and reactive maintenance.
12. Industry Knowledge: Experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing (cGMP/FDA regulated) is a plus.
13. Strong Communicator: Ability to convey technical issues effectively and implement solutions.
14. Proactive Leader: Demonstrates a 'right-first-time' mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
