This position requires a drive for continuous improvement, identifying and implementing innovative solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve cost, time, and performance criteria. The ideal candidate will lead engineering activities according to established processes, manage relationships with contractors, and ensure all projects comply with health and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement fit-for-purpose engineering projects that meet deadlines, budget constraints, and all performance requirements while following the Britvic Early Equipment Management (EEM) processLead project meetings and manage relationships with engineering contractors to achieve optimal results while ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 processesConduct and report on performance trials while ensuring all projects comply with health and safety legislative requirements and Britvic standardsDevelop and deliver engineering continuous improvement programs to reduce supply chain unit costs and proactively create solutions to problems encountered within the supply chainEstablish strong relationships with technical and engineering third-party OEMs while supporting the supply chain's engineering spares strategy in collaboration with Site Engineering Managers and ProcurementRequirementsComprehensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical services with the ability to understand, review, and investigate site drawingsStrong fault-finding capabilities for work package electrical interfaces and familiarity with Britvic Engineering StandardsExcellent communication skills to effectively convey project outage requirements and provide clear direction to contractors on installation mattersMinimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with demonstrated project management capabilitiesUnderstanding and knowledge of industry trends and directions with the ability to adapt to changing requirementsKey BehaviorsPride and Integrity: Champion the Britvic Engineering Standards and act with unwavering integrity in all professional interactionsBold Innovation: Develop creative solutions by thinking "outside the box" and appropriately challenge established processes when necessaryDisciplined Execution: Maintain strict adherence to Engineering Standards without compromise while acting with decisive thinking to meet tight timelinesOpen Communication: Maintain clear and transparent communications with contractors and colleagues, demonstrating authenticity through direct and respectful dialogueCollaborative Spirit: Form effective team working relationships with contractors and colleagues, creating win-win outcomes for all stakeholdersEducation/QualificationsElectrical and/or Mechanical qualifications - Degree or Trade certificationMinimum of 3 years' relevant experience in engineering or project managementExcellent level of verbal and written English communication skillsDemonstrated "Can Do" attitude and desire to excel in project management
