Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive professional to manage all aspects of plant utilities, facilities maintenance, and environmental sustainability at a manufacturing site in Munster.
This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, managing external service providers, and driving continuous improvement in energy efficiency and resource usage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of plant utilities and facilities to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
* Manage preventative and corrective maintenance programs for critical infrastructure and building systems (HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air, etc.).
* Lead the implementation of sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste reduction.
* Ensure full compliance with environmental, health & safety, and facilities-related regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a facilities or utilities management role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of plant systems (mechanical, electrical, water, HVAC, etc.) and maintenance best practices.
