Support Professionals Sought for Inclusive Services
We are currently seeking Support Professionals to join our Day Services team. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to be active participants within their communities.
Our ideal candidate will have relevant third level qualifications in Social Care, Education or Training and will have experience working with people with support needs, preferably intellectual disability. We also value enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility and empathy when working with individuals across the spectrum of intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in community activities
* Providing personal care and assistance as required
* Developing and implementing individualised plans to promote independence and self-advocacy
The successful candidate must have a commitment to adhering to high levels of infection prevention and control, knowledge of HSE National Policy on Safeguarding Vulnerable Persons and an awareness of alternative communication aids and assistive technology.
