Our client based in Kilkenny is currently looking to recruit a Part Time Payroll Administrator to join their team.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* The principal duties and responsibilities of this role will be to provide support in administering payrolls across multiple payroll companies.
* The role will be to carry out the normal responsibilities that would be generally expected of the department on a day-to-day basis.
* The successful candidate will work closely with existing team members in carrying out these responsibilities.
* This role will also support a variety of duties with focus on payroll query management, benefit support and administration. He or she will ensure consistent application of payroll policies, laws, and practices.
* The role will require the use of intermediate Excel skills (essential) daily.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* Experience in payroll processing and strong system skills. Current payroll system is MegaPay; full training can be provided to the right candidate.
* Strong numeracy aptitude, skills and experience, coupled with accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks and to meet challenging deadlines is essential.
* Proactive self-starter with good communication and time management skills.
* Demonstrate a sense of confidentiality and discretion.
* Ability to work as part of a team and with external partners, and work on own initiative.
* Good organisational and administrative skills.
