Job Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. About the Role: * This is a key position that requires technical knowledge and exceptional communication skills. * The ideal candidate will be able to provide top-notch support to our clients, resolving complex technical issues with ease. * Responsibilities will include installing and configuring computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications. * Safety protocols must be followed when removing and replacing HDDs with SSDs, using disk cloning tools, and managing partitions and formats. * On-site support will be provided in designated sites, liaising with coordinators to receive upgrade schedules and performing upgrades while managing issues through to resolution. * Prioritize, manage, and respond to service desk calls in a timely manner, logged on the service desk system, including travel to sites to support users within our geographical region. * Establish and build good working relationships with customers and end-users, liaison with third-party vendors for software and hardware installations, troubleshoot and refer hardware faults to third parties. * Troubleshoot system problems, diagnose and solve software faults, be aware of and contribute to the Knowledge Base, complete post-upgrade forms or checklists for central teams. * Deal with how-to requests, data security, and ICT policies, liaison with local and national ICT teams, engage with service providers, conduct site assessments, undertake necessary training, and coordinate office activities for efficiency and compliance. * Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data, submit timely reports, prepare presentations/proposals as assigned, assist and interact with colleagues and project teams as requested.
