At AECOM, we are currently recruiting for a Document Control Specialist to join us at our Dublin office.
Here's what you'll do:
Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities;
The Document Controller will support the programme team by managing all aspects of document storage, sharing, and governance.
They will coordinate programme documentation and act as the first point of contact for any documentation-related queries.
Working as an integral member of the programme team, the role holder will help implement programme control tools, oversee the programme's document management systems, and provide general administrative support to ensure smooth and effective programme delivery.
Maintain and update the document register, request-for-information (RFI) register, action log, issue log, and other project control tools as required.
Analyse, interpret, and summarise the status of project registers and logs to provide clear visibility of progress and outstanding items.
Prepare and issue weekly status and overdue reports covering project documents, actions, issues, and other relevant project information.
Ensure all documents are issued, received, and stored in accordance with the project's document control procedures.
Liaise with external document providers—such as consultants and contractors—to ensure their full compliance with the document control procedures established by the Contracting Entity.
Maintain and enforce a robust and clearly structured project filing system.
Proactively identify and recommend improvements to the document filing and management processes.
Support the implementation of project Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Health & Safety procedures by participating in internal and external audits.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience working within our aviation markets along with having the following qualifications and experience:
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Experience in a similar role, ideally supporting multidisciplinary, large-scale projects.
Fully proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experienced in managing databases.
