Experienced Site Foreman required for residential housing developments in GalwayKey Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a team of tradespeople and laborers on construction sites.Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting schedules as needed.Ensure workers adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment.Monitor work progress and quality, providing feedback and reporting to the Site/Project Manager.Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to guide site activities.Organize tools, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained properly.Manage on-site issues and resolve conflicts or delays in collaboration with project management.Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.Maintain records of site activities, including daily logs, timesheets, and incident reports.Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors as needed.Requirements:Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction, preferably on residential sites.Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, materials, and safety regulations.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Physical stamina and the ability to work in all weather conditions.Job Type: Full-timePay: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionAbility to commute/relocate:Galway, CO.
