ResponsibilitiesBuild and scale backend systems that support a real-world product used by customers today.Work between backend and product engineering, developing features and APIs and contributing to product evolution.Collaborate with the Head of Engineering and the wider team, taking ownership from day one.
QualificationsStrong backend engineering experience (5+ years ideally).Solid understanding of databases and data modelling.Experience working in start-ups or small, fast-moving teams.Ability to work autonomously and take ownership.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with product teams.Actively using AI in your development workflow.
Nice to HaveExperience with Elixir, Phoenix or LiveView.Exposure to frontend technologies (React or similar).Experience building or scaling early-stage products.
Working SetupHybrid working – typically 3 days in the Dublin office but open for the right candidate depending on locality.Flexible hours (no rigid start times).Collaborative, flat team structure.
Package€90,000 - €110,000 salary (flex depending on experience).Equity in a growing start-up.30 days annual leave.Pension and healthcare.
