Senior Strategic Analytics and Data Science ManagerJoin to apply for the Senior Strategic Analytics and Data Science Manager role at TricentisPosition OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and technically proficient GTM Senior Strategic Analytics and Data Science Manager to serve as an internal consultant for our Marketing organization. This is an individual contributor role requiring a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and consultative skills to drive data-driven insights that optimize marketing performance and demonstrate clear ROI across the customer lifecycle. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Strategic Analytics and Data Science and works closely with Marketing Leadership to ensure alignment with corporate goals and objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as an internal consultant to Marketing teams, proactively identifying trends and opportunities for campaign optimization and efficiency improvementsAnalyze complex business problems beyond surface-level requests to understand and address underlying business needsDevelop and deliver strategic insights that drive pipeline growth, marketing efficiency, and revenue attributionCreate compelling data narratives that connect marketing activities to business outcomes and corporate strategic goalsIndependently identify areas requiring analysis and deliver actionable recommendationsAbility to tie together narratives for marketing across all GTM (Marketing, Sales & Customer Success)Cross-Functional GTM AnalyticsMarketing Analytics: Analyze multi-channel campaign effectiveness and ROI; connect marketing activities to pipeline generation and revenue outcomes across the customer lifecycle (Sales & Customer Success); identify optimization opportunities in the marketing funnelSales Analytics: Analyze sales velocity metrics including time to close, average deal size, and win rates as it relates to marketing interaction; understand and optimize lead routing efficiency and BDR interaction points; analyze sales stage progression impact from marketing activitiesCustomer Intelligence: Analyze customer behavior patterns to inform segmentation strategies; track customer journey analytics from first touch through conversion; understand impact of Customer Marketing activities on growth components (Renewals, Upsell, Downsell, Churn)Technical & Systems ExpertiseDemonstrate deep understanding of Marketing and GTM tech stack architecture and data relationshipsBuild and maintain complex marketing dashboards and automated reportingEnsure data accuracy through comprehensive validation processesPartner with Marketing Operations on data quality and system optimizationProvide business context and technical requirements for data integration projectsStakeholder Management & CommunicationPartner with Marketing Leadership on strategic initiativesSupport Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Content, and Field Marketing teamsCollaborate with Marketing Operations and GTM Operations on process and system improvementsProvide regular insights to campaign managers and program ownersPresent complex findings in clear, actionable formats to both technical and non-technical audiencesProcess OptimizationPartner with operations teams to optimize data intake, validation, and analysis processesIdentify and resolve data quality issues across systemsEstablish and maintain reporting systems as reliable Sources of TruthDocument system processes and data relationships for team knowledge sharingExperienceRequired Qualifications8+ years of experience in analytics roles, with significant exposure to Marketing, Sales and Customer Success analyticsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
