HR Recruitment Specialist

Dublin- Hybrid

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sourcing and Talent Identification: Utilise various channels such as job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and our ATS Candidate Manager to proactively source and identify potential candidates.
Candidate Screening and Assessment: Conduct thorough screening of candidates through resume reviews and phone screenings to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. Collaborate with hiring managers and other board members to ensure alignment on candidate criteria and assessment methodologies.
Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all parties involved. Additionally, serve as a member of the interview board, actively participating in candidate assessments and contributing to the selection process.
Employer Branding: Promote our employer brand through engaging job descriptions, a compelling social media presence, and active participation in industry events to attract top talent. Particularly leverage platforms like LinkedIn to showcase our company culture, values, and career opportunities. Craft captivating job postings and company profiles that highlight our unique selling points and demonstrate why we are an employer of choice.
Candidate Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication, guidance, and post-interview feedback. Ensure that candidates receive clear and constructive feedback following interviews, helping them understand areas of strength and areas for development. Additionally, facilitate the seamless onboarding process for successful candidates, ensuring they receive all necessary information and support to integrate smoothly into their new roles within the organisation.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, provide insights on market trends, and offer recommendations for effective recruitment strategies.
Metrics and Reporting: Work closely with the Senior HR Partner on workforce planning and recruitment timeline to ensure adequate time allocation for each recruitment campaign. Collaborate on developing comprehensive recruitment schedules that account for the various stages of the hiring process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding.
Compliance and Diversity: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations, including public service guidelines, while also promoting diversity and inclusion in our hiring practices. Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with best practices and support equitable hiring processes.

Education and Qualifications:

Successfully completed a QQI Level 7 qualification (or equivalent) in HRM or related discipline.
Chartered CIPD membership is desirable.

Experience:

Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in delivering recruitment outputs.

Experience of using a recognised HRM software and/or applicant tracking system.
An understanding of the rules and regulations applying to Human Resources in the Public Sector is desirable.

Attention to Detail and Organisation:

Accuracy and attention to detail, along with the dedication to maintaining high work standards.
Excellent organisation and time management skills coupled with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Interpersonal Skills and Motivation:

A positive and proactive approach to work and confidence in own ability to deliver an effective and efficient HR service.
A professional, diplomatic, discreet yet personal manner when dealing with people and confidential information, remaining resilient and measured when faced with challenging circumstances.
A collaborative and adaptable approach to work and is a team player.
Self-motivation, drive, enthusiasm and a willingness to enhance own professional lifelong learning and development.
Ability to cope well under pressure while managing a demanding workload.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills (oral and written) with a proven ability to engage with all staff.
An ability to establish and sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Good influencing skills coupled with a responsive, confident and self-assured professional disposition.
An ability to effect positive change and be aware of initiatives that support staff and the organisation.

Technical Skills:

Advanced IT skills (MS office) and demonstrate an ability to record and analyse HR data.
