About This Role
The Sales Support Executive is a core member of the Order Processing and Service Delivery function, responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of data and connectivity services from order acceptance through service activation and billing readiness.
The role supports Sales by translating commercial agreements into deliverable, executable service orders, ensuring seamless handover from Sales to Service Delivery. By maintaining strong controls across order processing, provisioning coordination, and billing alignment, the role helps improve customer experience, reduce delivery failures, and protect revenue through right-first-time execution.
This position operates at the intersection of Sales, Service Delivery, Networks, and Billing, providing operational assurance across the full order lifecycle.
Expectations From The Role
Order Processing & Validation
Receive and process sales orders, ensuring all commercial, technical, and operational requirements are complete and accurate.
Validate data service orders for feasibility, service availability, contractual alignment, and billing readiness.
Act as a quality gate between Sales and Service Delivery, preventing incomplete or incorrect orders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date order records in CRM and order management systems.
Sales Order Delivery Support
Support end‑to‑end delivery of data, from order through provisioning and service activation.
Coordinate with Sales, Sales Support, Customer, Networks and Open eir to ensure timely service delivery.
Track delivery milestones and actively manage dependencies, risks, and delays.
Provide clear and proactive updates on order to Sales, Sales Support and customers.
Support customer onboarding by ensuring a smooth transition from order acceptance to live service and billing.
Order‑to‑Billing Alignment & Revenue Assurance
Ensure delivered services are accurately configured for billing in line with approved order details and service commencement dates.
Support First Bill Reviews to confirm consistency between order, delivery, and invoicing.
Identify and expedite order or delivery issues that may result in delayed, incorrect, or missed billing.
Support initiatives aimed at reducing rework, billing errors, and revenue leakage linked to data service delivery.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Maintain visibility of work in progress (WIP) across all live data orders.
Identify recurring processing or delivery issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to standardisation and documentation of order processing and service delivery workflows.
Requirements For A Successful Application
Experience in order processing, service delivery, or sales operations, ideally within B2B.
Proven ability to coordinate across Sales, Suppliers and Billing teams.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and process adherence.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM / order management systems (e.g. ION, Dynamics).
Strong organisational and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent orders in a fast‑paced environment.

On‑time delivery of sales orders.
Reduction in order fallout, rework, and delivery defects.
Reduction in order‑to‑bill timelines.
Right‑first‑time data orders, service activation, and billing readiness.
