Job Description The Senior Project Manager will act as the Contracting Entity's representative, taking responsibility for managing a group of projects from planning and design through to the successful completion and commissioning.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for delivering the projects safely to time, to budget and to specification, ensuring the projects achieve all project goals and objectives in accordance with the Contracting Entity's employer's requirements and the corporate strategic intent for the portfolio.
Principal Responsibilities Programme Requirements, Standards Knowledge of operating as a client's project manager Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project delivery.
Skills Managing a significant multidisciplinary team across multiple concurrent projects Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to govern and drive outcomes to ensure project outputs that meet required standards Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC suite of contracts Knowledge of Engineering and Project Management Principles Planning capability and ability to use Oracle Primavera 6 scheduling system Knowledge of Policies and Procedures implementation Ability to make decisions and demonstrate the logic in reaching those decisions where required Report writing skills Computer literacy Formal Education Qualifications University degree in either Project Management or an Engineering Discipline preferred PRINCE2 or equivalent RICS, CIOB, APM or equivalent Additional Information Our inspired people share our vision and mission.
