Chief Compliance Officer: Sustainability and Quality
As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive quality assurance processes and systems for textile products.
The Role
Responsibilities include managing safety monitoring and evaluating product quality at all stages of the production process from raw material sourcing to finished goods. You will collaborate with product development teams to ensure that quality and safety is integrated into the design and development process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain comprehensive quality assurance processes and systems for textile products with a focus on safety monitor and evaluate product quality at all stages of the production process from raw material sourcing to finished goods.
2. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that quality and safety is integrated into the design and development process.
3. Lead investigations and resolution of quality and safety issues including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
4. Establish and maintain safety and quality standards benchmarks and KPIs for textile products.
5. Use customer feedback as part of the quality safety and compliance management.
6. Manage comprehensive mapping and profiling of the textile supplier network providing detailed insights and high-level metrics on supplier performance and capacity.
7. Maintain a business ranking system based on key metrics identifying top-performing suppliers and proactively addressing any risks or areas of underperformance.
8. Ensure all suppliers meet Dunnes Stores' stringent ethical and environmental standards through rigorous safety audits and compliance checks.
Sustainability Leadership
Responsibilities include maintaining the Dunnes Stores Textiles sustainability programmes for textile products ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental social and governance ESG standards and certifications working closely with suppliers to promote sustainable practices including the use of eco-friendly materials waste reduction and energy efficiency leading initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of textile production including water usage chemical management and carbon footprint reduction.
