Garden Centre Manager Role
Key objective of this position is to drive sales growth, maximize profitability and lead the garden centre team towards improved site performance.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a 'Zero Harm' culture by ensuring safety procedures are followed and risks are mitigated.
* Sustain high levels of engagement, competence and motivation within the garden centre team through effective supervision, training and development.
* Analyse sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance results.
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences by resolving queries in a timely manner and maintaining optimal stock availability.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, legislative requirements and financial standards.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Horticultural qualification or relevant degree.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in people management.
* Demonstrable commercial awareness, retail performance understanding and excellent customer experience delivery skills.
* Proficient IT skills and flexibility to work weekends as required.
