The Jeanie Johnston Tallship: An Irish Famine Story are seeking candidates for the position of Tour Guide
The role will be particularly suitable for those with a keen interest in tourism and hospitality.
The role will involve interacting with the public, providing guided tours in our museum onboard the Jeanie Johnston Tallship
The role will also include front of house administration tasks, working in our ticket office and handling bookings and enquiries.
Candidates must possess excellent English language skills. Knowledge of other languages is also desirable although not a requirement.
Previous experience and or qualifications in Tour guiding is essential.
Candidiates must possess a QQI Level 5 Common Award in Cultural and Heritage Studies or higher to be considered for this role
This role is part time intially with full time employment possible at the commencement of the 2026 Tourist Season (March 2026)
The commencement date for this role is upon appointment following the interview and selection process
