Supply Chain Professional - Sustainability Specialist
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Professional to join our team in Shannon, Co. Clare. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainability and supplier responsibility management.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain and will have dotted line reporting to the Quality Manager. This exciting opportunity involves collaboration with other departments and suppliers, ensuring seamless operations and optimal results.
In this role, you will:
* Drive the supplier onsite audit programme, working closely with the quality department to ensure compliance and excellence.
* Evaluate new suppliers as part of the supplier evaluation team, assessing their capabilities and suitability for our business needs.
* Develop and implement a supplier rating system based on department KPIs, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to achieving our supply chain KPIs, focusing on dual sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier management.
* Lead our responsible sourcing program, managing our annual Ecovadis submission and ensuring adherence to industry standards.
* Represent the supply chain team in customer and standards certification audits, showcasing our commitment to excellence.
* Support our established CSR and Sustainability Strategy, including re-shoring initiatives, and participate in value analysis programs.
* Train suppliers in company policies and procedures, ensuring they meet our high standards.
* Monitor and update our supply chain policies and procedures, guaranteeing they remain current and effective.
We are looking for individuals who possess:
* A third-level degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Quality.
* Auditing experience would be an advantage, particularly with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply chain or technical role, with a strong background in sustainability and supplier responsibility.
* Excellent time management and task prioritization skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing circumstances.
* Strong project management and leadership skills, with a keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent our company effectively.
* A willingness to travel throughout Europe regularly and occasionally to Asia, with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
