Regional Sales Professional
The role of Regional Sales Professional involves driving sales growth and development within a specific territory. Key responsibilities include achieving revenue targets, managing regional budgets, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
This home-based position requires the ability to identify and sell technology solutions to the construction infrastructure services market. The successful candidate will be accountable for the sales performance of the region, including achieving revenue and profit targets.
A key aspect of this role is strategic planning, which involves generating and developing a strategic territory sales plan, planning sales activity daily, weekly, and monthly, and reporting using internal CRM. Additionally, opportunity management is crucial, requiring the identification, management, and closure of new and existing opportunities within the region.
Collaboration with OEM and Strategic Sales is also essential in identifying new business opportunities. Product demonstration and consultative sales skills are required to demonstrate the features and benefits of Trimble's Construction Infrastructure products to existing and potential customers.
Forecasting and goal achievement are critical components of this role, requiring the delivery of regular and accurate sales forecasts to the UK Regional Sales Manager and the diligent work towards achieving company objectives and goals.
Market analysis is also an important responsibility, involving the monitoring and reporting on market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, specifically with customers.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in a technical-related discipline or HND in a technical-related discipline.
* Relevant experience in a construction technology-related discipline, with previous field sales experience preferred.
* Strong ability to successfully sell products and services.
* Ability to set priorities appropriate for short and long-term objectives.
* Ability to make strategic decisions and take disciplined risks.
