Job Title: Hospitality Project Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Project Manager to lead our pre-opening project in the mid-west. The successful candidate will have a strong food background and experience in managing projects at all levels, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the project at all levels, ensuring goals are met on a daily and weekly basis, keeping all stakeholders updated on progress and delays
* Set and agree contingency plans for any unforeseen delays, ensuring next steps are addressed and amended if required
* Lead on-site team to ensure key goals are achieved on time and within budget
* SUPPORT operations team through training, coaching and measuring performance offering feedback and guidance
* Recruit, select, on-board and train all new team members to enable them to integrate into the team seamlessly
* Work closely with clients and customers, listening and actioning suggestions appropriately
* Ensure day to day service is delivered as per agreed KPi's and SOP's
* Monitor standards of service continuously, actioning or escalating gaps as appropriate
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a 5 Star or similar food and beverage establishment
* Excellent communication skills, coupled with a confident personality and ability to listen, influence and manage multi-disciplinary stakeholders
* Proven experience in change management
* Strong understanding of operational systems within a busy food and beverage service
