Technical Director of BIM Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned technical professional to lead our Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategy and drive digital transformation across the organization. As a Technical Director of BIM, you will play a key role in shaping our company's future and developing a centralized voice for BIM.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, architecture, or a related field, with extensive experience in BIM design and implementation. They will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive BIM strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to align and develop cross-functional competencies targeted at key sectors and technologies.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading complex projects, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders. They will also be a self-starter, able to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute a comprehensive BIM strategy to forecast and plan required capability and capacity.
2. Support business units in strengthening and growing their departments, including department profiling, team competency gaps, and associated training needs.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to align and develop cross-functional competencies targeted at key sectors and technologies.
4. Define the range of design activities and deliverables required to deliver projects safely and efficiently.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
* 15 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 10 years at senior management level.
* Good working knowledge of BIM design and cGMP experience.
* Proven track record in leading complex projects in detailed BIM design.
* Member of a recognized Engineering professional body.
* Strong technical, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Fluent English.
