Job Title: EHS Sustainability Professional
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled EHS Sustainability Professional to join our team in Dundalk, County Louth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all pharmaceutical manufacturing operations comply with regulatory requirements and maintain high standards of safety and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the EHS team in providing support to internal teams where required, including day-to-day operations
* Support HAZOPs and Design Safety Review
* Incident investigation and close-out as required
* Support the EHS team in completion of walkdowns and at handover stages
* Support the EHS team in the EHS management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeout
* Assist with the development, documentation, and implementation of safe systems of work for manufacturing and maintenance operations
* Support site investigations, identifying root cause and measures to prevent recurrence, risk management, and action plans to mitigate risk
* Assist safety audits and to improve the site safety management systems
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Health & Safety or related Engineering discipline
* Minimum 5 years plus EHS experience, some of which within a Pharmaceutical / Biopharma manufacturing facility
* Excellent communication/organisation skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
* Good computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.)
