Head of Trust Administration
The position involves managing the day-to-day operations of a trust company, acting as signatory for all trusts, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Management: Oversee the opening and management of bank, custodian, and brokerage accounts, including decisions on authorized signatories and acceptance of terms and conditions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practice.
* Accounts and Assets: Monitor and manage trust assets, including documentation of all decisions related to asset management and distribution in accordance with the trust deed and share plan rules.
* Leadership: Lead and develop a team of trust professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong leadership skills, team management, excellent communication, understanding of corporate structures and fiduciary responsibility, regulatory compliance expertise, ability to identify conflicts of interest, and detailed mindset thorough understanding of trust and equity plan management.
