About the Role
As a Business Software Developer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain business applications on the Microsoft platform, with a focus on document management, knowledge management and other legal solutions. The role supports the SharePoint Platform and Power Platform stack, including low‑code/no‑code solutions, SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and emerging Microsoft AI‑based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain applications heavily dependent on SharePoint Online, Power Platform, SPFx, and the MS365 stack, including AI capabilities.
Migrate legacy applications to cloud‑based Microsoft architecture solutions following best practices and standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, implement features, test functionality and deploy applications.
Support Product Management with complex product or product integration assessments.
Improve software development practices and frameworks within the team.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Power Platform development with a strong emphasis on Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.
Proven ability to design and implement low‑code/no‑code solutions to streamline business processes.
Solid understanding of system integration, particularly through RESTful APIs.
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 tools, especially SharePoint Online.
Proficiency in Git for version control, including branching strategies, pull requests and collaborative workflows.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience developing with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and client‑side technologies such as TypeScript, React or Angular.
Knowledge of testing strategies, including Unit Testing and Test‑Driven Development, and familiarity with automated testing tools such as Playwright.
Experience building Office Add‑ins for Word and Outlook.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting, particularly PnP PowerShell for SharePoint Online.
Exposure to Microsoft Teams development, Co‑pilot Studio and Azure services such as Azure Functions, Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure AI Foundry.
Experience with AI technologies within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Co‑pilot Studio, Microsoft Co‑pilot extensibility and Azure AI / Azure OpenAI.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Graph API for accessing Microsoft 365 data and services.
Experience in the legal domain or other professional services is an advantage.
Experience working in an Agile environment with backlog management using Kanban or Scrum.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively with stakeholders and deliver high‑quality solutions within deadlines.

Solution Design: Design, develop and deploy robust solution architectures aligned with user needs and business goals.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test processes and cases to ensure solution quality.
Maintenance & Support: Provide support for existing systems and diagnose/resolve technical issues.
Continuous Improvement: Update technical knowledge and drive adoption of best practices.
Project Management: Assist in project planning and management tasks as needed.
