Maintenance Team Lead
We are hiring for our client in Ashbourne who is seeking an experienced
Maintenance Team Lead
to lead and deliver the full site maintenance programme and supervision across a high-volume production environment.
This is a key role where the successful Maintenance Team Lead will manage and support a team of maintenance fitters and electricians, ensure effective maintenance planning and scheduling, and drive world-class reliability across all production systems.
This position offers strong autonomy, daily operational influence, and a clear opportunity to enhance maintenance performance.

The Role
Plan, coordinate and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities across the site
Work closely with engineering, production and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
Maintain and update the CMMS with accurate work orders, asset information and maintenance histories
Support continuous improvement projects across maintenance and reliability
Participate in root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to reduce downtime
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality and regulatory standards
Track key performance indicators relating to maintenance performance and asset reliability
The Person
Previous experience in a Maintenance Team Lead, Maintenance Coordinator, Maintenance Supervisor or similar engineering role
Relevant engineering qualification
Strong understanding of maintenance processes, scheduling and CMMS systems
Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production and external partners
Strong problem-solving capability and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
