Specific Job Details
Location: Primary Care Centre, Navan Road, Co. Meath, A82 H3C7 – Kells
Contract: Fixed‑Term 4–6 months (flexible)
Working Hours & Pattern: Thursday and Friday 9 am – 5 pm
Pension: Company will match 5% of employee contribution monthly

Sick Leave: Upon completion of probation, pay up to 2 weeks of contracted hours

Position Requirements
Registered General Nurse with the NMBI
Experience in phlebotomy
Minimum 2 years of post‑graduate experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational, and telephone skills
Excellent written and spoken English
Flexible attitude towards changing work practices
Roles & Responsibilities
Immunisation
Administer infant, childhood, flu, and other vaccinations
Administer travel vaccinations
Provide travel advice
Chronic Disease Management
ECG, phlebotomy, lifestyle questionnaire, cholesterol testing, and dietary advice as per CDM Programme
Blood pressure monitoring
Nursing management of chronic diseases
Female Health
Cervical screening
Family planning
Sexual Health
Opportunistic STI screening
Sexual health advice
Skin and Minor Injury Care
Treatment of venous leg ulcers and other skin injuries
Assessment and treatment of skin lacerations
Removal of sutures
Nursing management of skin conditions – eczema, psoriasis
General Nursing Duties
Health promotion and education
Telephone triage and advice
Ear irrigation
Administration of prescribed long‑term medications/injections
