Our client, a well-established and fast-growing company supplying a wide range of products to hardware/DIY stores, co-ops, paint stores, wholesalers, cash & carries, and locksmiths across the region. With a portfolio of trusted, high-quality brands – they have built a strong reputation for product excellence and customer service.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to manage and grow an existing customer base in an established territory.
Responsibilities
Manage and develop existing customer relationships
Identify and win new business opportunities within the territory
Promote our full range of products and brands to existing and prospective clients
Build long-term relationships with customers and buying groups at all levels
Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service
The Person
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in direct field sales, ideally in the Hardware, DIY or Merchant trades
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, with a results-oriented approach to sales
Confident negotiator with experience engaging at a senior level
A team player with a positive attitude and professional approach
Full clean driving licence
