The RDS is seeking a Graduate Marketing and Communications Assistant to join its Marketing & Communications team to support the delivery of best-in-class campaigns, across multiple platforms driving excellent commercial and reputational outcomes.
Role overview Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Communications, you will work within the team to support key projects and activities across the entire RDS organisation including Venue, Foundation, Membership and the Dublin Horse Show.
This role is designed to be a two-year introduction to all aspects of marketing and communications within a large, multi-faceted organisation.
Your responsibilities will include planning, content creation, execution, monitoring and reporting across a range of diverse campaigns.
This role requires a motivated self-starter who can demonstrate initiative and agility across a range of diverse tasks.
There will be a strong emphasis on leveraging the unique content opportunities available across the RDS campus and maximising the potential of our social and digital platforms.
You will also provide vital support for Sponsorship activation across the organisation.
This requires a highly organised individual with exceptional writing skills and attention to detail.
Key responsibilities Support the development and implementation of the Society marketing & communications plan, ensuring the successful rollout of campaigns for RDS Venue, Foundation, Membership and the International Dublin Horse Show.
Leverage the breadth and diversity of activities at the RDS to create inspirational content to engage target audiences.
Assist in developing and posting engaging written and creative content across all digital platforms.
Get hands-on experience supporting the communications and social media aspects of major events including the Dublin Horse Show and various Venue/Foundation activities.
Be the guardian of and implement the Group content calendar across digital and social channels.
Assist in leveraging data analytics to evaluate campaign performance and contribute to building on learnings for future initiatives.
Demonstrate proactivity and initiative by identifying new content opportunities and suggesting improvement to current processes.
Who were looking for A recent graduate (within the last 2 years) in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related discipline.
Exceptional writing skills and a keen attention to detail are essential.
A passionate, creative and highly organised individual with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
An appreciation for corporate social media channels and digital platforms with a readiness to learn how to scale and grow engagement.
Ability to think on your feet and respond quickly, calmly and effectively to deadlines and during live events.
